Printer Stand Number 1.
Materials:
2-2x4's 14 inches long
1-2x4 13 inches long
1-1/2" thick plywood 16'x14"
6-8penny nails
1-12oz can of silver spray paint
The use of a 2x4's was perfect for the sides while the top would be constructed from scrap plywood.
The first printer stand was made with scrap 2x4's and scrap 1/2" thick plywood. The side 2x4's were cut 14 inches
long while the front 2x4 was cut 13" long. The scrap 1/2" thick plywood was cut 14 inches by 16 inches to accommodate an epson printer.
The plywood was fastened to the 2x4's with six 8 penny nails. The printer stand was then painted with silver spray paint.
Printer Stand Number 2.
Materials
2-1x5's 12-3/8"
1-1x5 14"
1-3/4"thick plywood 16"x12-3/8"
6-number 8 screws 1-1/2" long.
Instead of 2x4's this printer stand was made with used stained door molding 1x5's and 1/2" thick plywood.
The side 1"x5" boards were cut to 12-3/8" and the front 1"x5" board was cut to 14-1/2". The 3/4" thick
plywood was cut 16" x 12-3/8". The plywood was fastened to the 1x5's with number 8 wood screws 1-1/2"
long
No further finishing was done to this printer stand.
Printer Stand Number 3.
Materials

1-1/2"thick plywood 12"x13"
6-number 8 wood screws 1-1/4" long
This printer stand does not have a front and is the simplest stand. The two 2x4's were cut to 13" lengths
and the 1/2' thick plywood top was cut to 12"x13". The top was attached to the sides with number 8
wood screws 1-1/4" long.
This stand was not finished.
The need for this printer stand arose when my daughter decided she did not want the Computer in her room
So the stand was made to accommodate the espon 500 printer attached to the Tandy SX1000 computer
